Black is the New Green

After the Solyndra scandal in which President Barack Obama was found to have loaned billions of dollars to this “green energy” company after a large campaign donation from them was given for his 2008 presidential bid, today, yet another green company has gone belly up without producing so much as a single bright idea that could work to help transform American dependence on fossil fuels into something more domestic and renewable.  Again, it is (you guessed it) another of Obama’s little pet companies, one that had been given more taxpayer dollars during the early days of his campaign.  Now, many states are looking back at older, less green ways of providing the energy they need.

Clean coal and oil are still perfectly good sources of energy.  The United States of America has a lot of oil reserves right under its own soil that need to be tapped into.  Coal is another way that states are taking care of their energy needs, without costing taxpayers the kind of money that Obama’s zany ideas have amounted to.  People may scoff at the idea of coal as a “clean” energy source, and there are plenty of reasons that, under the right circumstances, it can be very hazardous in the toxic by products it produces — but we know more about keeping coal clean today than we did before.  There are now some highly efficient ways to implement coal as a viable energy source without having to pollute the environment.  Let’s call it “green coal.”

So, now that we’ve got that settled, what do you think about black being the new green?  That’s certainly where things are now headed, according to experts.

“The mishandling of so many renewable, green energy initiatives by the Obama administration has resulted in the neccesity of reverting back to affordable ways to keep this country’s infrastructure operating,” said Gene Madrick, a coal energy worker.

He’s got more than just a little point there.  I mean, come on, if all this green stuff was really working out so well, do you honestly think we would be in the mess we now find ourselves in?  In an election year, no less.  We would love to hear your opinions on this controversial matter.  Please leave us your comments and repost this article.  You never know what a difference social activism can make until you get out there, get involved, and get sharing.  We need to make sure that America knows now is the right time to make real change.
